In his remarks after the presentation, Trusley stated, "As those of you that are using the performance criteria know, it only provides the roadmap; it is the people, in this case that outstanding staff at the Augusta VA Medical Center, which ensure ongoing success. Our staff is made up of a special group of experienced, compassionate and professional individuals that proudly come together to provide exceptional services. Together they created and adhere to the purpose, mission, vision, and values that define the Augusta VA. The mission: to do everything we can for veterans is simple, but speaks volumes about the staff as they go about their day to day business."
