LCMS girl's basketball team defeats W-Wilkes MS 38-27
      The Lincoln County Middle School girl's basketball team defeated Washington Wilkes Middle by a score of 38-27. Bethany Beggs led all scores with 19 points. Montana Dawkins chipped in seven and Perkita Walton had six. LCMS opened the game with a quick steal and free throw by Taylor Fernandes. Taylor then injured her ankle and was lost for the game.

Devils head for Dome again after 31-7 win

      It was a classic match up between two rival clubs in Georgia State Class A. The two powerhouses met at Buddy Bufford Field Friday for round three of the 2006 playoffs. The better team prevailed, and the Red Devils went home defeated. Lincoln County devotees lost no sleep Friday night, however, for it was not their beloved team whose state title hopes were shattered.
