Melvin E. Partridge turned 88 years old on November 13, 2006. He celebrated with his family at his home.

Attending along with his wife of 65 years were his children Kenneth E. Partridge, Rachel P. Pharr and husband, Jerrel of Washington, Bobby and Patty Partridge, Roger and Frankie Partridge, Irvin and Jan Partridge, and Tim and Debra Partridge, all of Lincolnton.

After the blessing by Melvin, a delicious fried chicken meal was enjoyed by everyone. Memento photos were taken to document the occasion.
