The LCHS Region 7-A runner-up one-act play cast will be presenting their rendition of Steel Magnolias on Monday, November 20, at 7:00 P. M. in the auditorium. In addition to the play, several students will be presenting interpretation pieces that they have learned in class and/or performed in competition.

The cast won region runner-up honors on Thursday, November 2, at Warren County High School. Hilary Aycock (Clairee) was named Best Actress in the region; also receiving recognition among the LCHS cast for their performances were Sarah Fonseca (Annelle) and Kayley Bannister (M'Lynn). Other cast members are Earnessa Davis (Truvy), Kelsey Reese (Shelby), Jaime Turner (Ouiser), and Abigail Minor (the KPPD D. J.).

Mrs. Lee Robinson, the one-act play director, says that "I really hope that the public will come out to see this wonderful performance. The girls have done such a good job, but very few people have seen the play. Only a small handful came over to Warrenton to see the region performance, and we want everyone to come out and enjoy our show next Monday night."
