The Washington Little Theater will hold auditions for a "Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols" on Sun., Nov. 5, 3 at the theater on North Alexander Ave. This musical event is based on the 90 year old service that began at King's College in Cambridge, England. The festival ushers in the Christmas season with choral music, congregational carols, and beautiful readings.

For the audition, all singers are asked to bring a prepared Christmas carol. An accompanist will be provided. Whether you sing in your local church choir or in the shower, all those 16 or older are invited to come and audition. Due to the short amount of rehearsal time, practices will be held on Sunday afternoons and Monday and Thursday evenings (total of 11 rehearsals).
