Family and friends gather to witness Garrett O'Hara Brennan, thirteen week old son of Dana and Brian Brennan, received the Sacrament of Holy Baptism at Lincolnton United Methodist Church on September 10, 2006. Garrett was baptized by Rev. Dave Hinson during the 11:00 morning worship service wearing a 85 year old gown belonging to his greatgrandfather, Jim O'Hara.

One hundred and twenty-nine people gathered in the historic sanctuary to witness and participate in the Baptismal Covenant. At the conclusion of the sacrament, Garrett's aunt, Tonya Hill, sang Jesus Loves Me/ Jesus Loves the Little Children. He is now a baptized member of Lincolnton United Methodist Church.

Garrett is the Godson of Katy Baker and Brian Sorrow. He is the grandson of Sue and Toye Hill, Christi and Bob Seifring and Tim Brennan. He is the great-grandson of Jean and Jim O'Hara. Garrett placed flowers in the sanctuary in honor of his grandparents on Grandparents Day.

After the service, friends and family enjoyed a meal in the fellowship hall in celebration of Garrett's baptism. Thanks to all who blessed us with their presence on this special occasion.
