SSF CHRISTOPHER O. KNIGHT AND LEIGH TAYLOR GODSEY Mr. and Mrs. Rohn Anderson of Washington announce the engagement of her daughter, Leigh Taylor Godsey of Washington, to Staff Sergeant Christopher O'Dell Knight of Tampa, Fla., grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Culmer, also of Tampa.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Winnie Thompson and the late Gary Thompson and the late Mr. and Mrs. Sam Brown of Washington.

She is a 2004 graduate of Washington Wilkes Comprehensive High School and a 2006 graduate of Augusta Tech in Augusta. She is currently employed at the MCG Cardiologist Clinic in Augusta.

SSF Knight is the great-grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ozzie Knight of Tampa. He is a graduate of East Bay High School in Tampa and is presently serving in the United States Army stationed at Fort Gordon.

The couple plan to marry October 6 in Augusta. The bride's parents will honor the couple at a wedding reception on Saturday, October 7 from 6 - 9 p.m. at the Lincolnton Club House, 255 N. Washington Street. No invitations will be sent for the reception. All relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
