Master Cattlemen's Program to be held
There will be a University of Georgia Master Cattlemen's Program held seven Monday nights beginning September 25th through November 6th, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The first four sessions will be at the McGillWoodruff Ag Center, 13 North ByPass, Washington Ga. and the next three sessions at the Warren County Community Service Building, 48 Warren St., Warrenton Ga.
This is a great opportunity to get the latest information concerning beef cattle production. Topics include Facilities, Fly Control, Economics and Marketing, Meats, General Herd Health, Nutrition, Forages, Genetics, Foreign Animal Disease/ Agroterrorism, Reproduction and National Animal Identification System (NAIS). These topics will be covered by the University of Georgia Cooperative Extension Specialist and UGA Faculty Members.
Program participants that attend at least five of the seven sessions will receive a certificate of completion and a UGA Master Cattlemen cap.
