It's time for all Red Devil fans to dig their noise makers out of the closet, dust off the old stadium seats, and get their red and white wardrobes cleaned and pressed in preparation for another fall filled with great football!

To get the season off to a good start, the LCHS Varsity Cheer Devils will host a public pep rally on Thursday, September 7, beginning at 7 p.m. at Buddy Bufford Field.

The first home game of the season will then take place Friday, September 8, at 8 p.m. For the first time since 1989, Lincoln County will square off against the Harlem Bulldogs on the gridiron.

During the pep rally, fans will have the opportunity to meet the 2006 Red Devils, the Cheer Devils, and the Red Devil Pride Marching Band. Special guests will be members of the 2006 Swinging Red Devils Softball Team who are set to play their season opener against Warren County on Tuesday, September 19.

According to Marcella Goldman, one of the varsity cheerleading coaches, "We hope fans will decorate their cars and yards with all of their Red Devil merchandise. We want everybody to know that Red Devil pride is running rampant in Lincoln County!"
