SARAH EMILY CARPENTER Sarah Emily Carpenter, daughter of Steven and Tammy (Heard) Carpenter, celebrated her first birthday with a party at home on July 29, 2006. Her actual birthday was August 1.

Sarah wore a beautiful lavender party dress for the special occasion given to her by her Mimi Mary Jo. Upon arrival, guests enjoyed numerous outdoor activities before moving inside to create their own unique ice cream sundaes. To rinse off sticky faces, everyone enjoyed a sprinkler party in the front yard.

Later guests enjoyed opening goody bags while Sarah sat in her special birthday chair and opened presents with the help of her big brother, Seth, age two and one-half. To end the party, everyone enjoyed a delicious homemade Number One birthday cake made by Sarah's Mimi Margie who also made an exact miniature cake for Sarah to enjoy.

Sarah celebrated again on August 2 with a birthday dinner at her Mimi and Bop Bop's home in Augusta.

She would like to thank everyone for all her wonderful gifts and for making her day special.
