Mr. William W. Scouten of ColvinKennedy Road, entered into rest on Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at his residence.

Mr. Scouten was the son of the late George Scouten and the late Edith Colburn Scouten. He was born in Union County, New Jersey and lived in Lincoln County for the past four years. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard and was retired as an accountant from civil service. He was also of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include a brother, George Scouten and wife, Nancy of Thomson, Ga. and several nieces and nephews.

Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson, Ga., was in charge of arrangements.
