Mark Porter and Becky LeRoy of Augusta, Georgia, are proud to announce the birth of their son, Raymond Marcel, born May 9, 2006 at 4:45 p.m. at the University Hospital in Augusta. He weighed eight pounds, one-half ounce and was twenty and one-half inches long.

Paternal grandparents are Delores Porter Duncan and the late Raymond McCord of Lincolnton. Paternal great-grandparents Jimmy and Idell Porter and Jessie McCord and the late Enos McCord, all of Lincolnton.

Maternal grandparents are Rick and Kay LeRoy of Lincolnton. Maternal great-grandparents are Martha and the late Jack LeRoy of Lincolnton and Mary Ann and the late Richard Fleckenstein of Davenport, Ia.
