Joshua Bentley went to the state house in Columbia, S.C. to receive the Governor's Citizenship Award on May 2, 2006. This award is given to a student from ever high school in South Carolina. Joshua is a sophomore at McCormick High School and is the son of Gary Bentley and the late Mary Ellen Bentley. He is the grandson ofDorothy Bentley of Lincolnton.
