Little Roy and Lizzie Long play and sing for visitors

Over 150 people from all over the United States and Canada attended the annual "Memories of the Lewis Family" at the historical park on Saturday, May 6, 2006 from 9:00 until 10:30 a.m.

Set-up and on display for all to view was Pop Lewis' wagon, Little Roy's Model A car, Little Roy and Bonnie Lewis' bicycles from the 1950's, Lewis Family memorabilia representing each member of the group, old family performance videos, and CD's playing in the background of the Lewis Family Pavilion. Little Roy Lewis and Polly Lewis Copsey were there to meet and greet their fans.

Also, Lizzie Long and Al McCall, came out to visit and play a few tunes for the audience. Al is the son of State Representative Tom McCall of Elberton. Guests enjoyed coffee, lemonade, fresh fruit, and breakfast bread.

The event was hosted by the Lincoln County Historical Society, Inc. Little Roy Lewis playing his guitar and Lizzie Long sitting in Pop Lewis' wagon playing her fiddle entertained guests during "Memories of the Lewis Family" held at the historical park.
