Mrs. Norma Wolfe Steed, 83, of Florence Street, entered into rest on Saturday, May 6, 2006 at Wills Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 8 at Lincolnton Baptist Church with Revs. Paul Reviere and Dan Rosser officiating. Interment followed in the Lincolnton City Cemetery.

Mrs. Steed was a native of Wilkes County and the daughter of the late George Henry Wolfe and Mamie Bell Wolfe. She was a homemaker, a member of Lincolnton Baptist Church, the T.E.L. Sunday School class and the W.M.U.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Thomas Beck Steed; one

daughter, Norma Joyce Wilke of Corpus Christi, Tx.; one son, Marcus Allen Steed and wife, Susan of Atlanta, Ga.; five grandchildren, Donald Allen Wilke, David Lang Wilke, Thomas Allen Steed, Michael Lee Steed and Natalie Martinez; two greatgrandchildren, Dalton Beck Steed and Bryan Allen Wilke; and two nephews, Wallace Clary and William Clary.

Pallbearers were Allen Steed, Michael Steed, Robert Steed, David Wilke, Donald Wilke and Ed Turner.
