Qualifying was held for two seats on the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners Monday, April 24, through Friday, April 28.

According to Virginia Williams, executive director of the Lincoln County Board of Elections and Registration, incumbent Alcye Hawes (D) and James Darrell Henderson (R) qualified to run for the District 1 seat on the board, with incumbent Larry Collins (R) and Comer Elton Lawson (R) set to vie for the District 2 commission seat.

The General Primary is set for Tuesday, July 18.
