Performances are scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. each evening.

Written by Frank Loesser, the musical's story lines include the longterm engagement of Nathan and Adelaide, the never-ending search to find the appropriate venue for the crap game, and the Save-a-Soul Mission's attempts to win over lost souls.

A few of the more recognizable tunes from the show are "Adelaide's Lament," "Luck Be a Lady Tonight," and "Fugue for Tinhorns."

The production is being directed by Randy Smith and Carolee Hobbins, co-teachers of the musical theatre class, with Cindy Folger of the Augusta West Dance Studio serving as the choreographer.

This marks the sixth musical production for Smith and Hobbins. Both teachers commented that this group of students has been wonderful to work with. The students have had terrific attitudes all semester long and a willingness to work well with each other, both of which have greatly enhanced the production. The class is comprised of 41 students, 17 of whom are seniors.

Cast in the leading roles are Charles Bailey as Nathan Detroit, Ginny Barwick as Miss Adelaide, Arnell Ferguson as Nicely-Nicely Johnson, Ryan King as Sky Masterson, and Kellen O'Neill as Sarah Brown. All of the leads are graduating seniors.

Other members of the cast and crew are Roy Bailey, Emyle Davis, Cheryl Gracey, Viola Harris, Amy Justus, Doug Overholt, Katie Pike, Jessica Plakovic, Cassie Smith, Haili Reed, Rex Reed, Jessica Rickerson, Cheron Ware, Hillary Aycock, Melissa Banks, Kayley Bannister, Earnessa Davis, Kristen Hudler, Kendall Huff, Kelsey Reese, Brittney Sheppard, Hunter Smith, Jaime Turner, Ashleigh Vick, Ross Waters, Raphael Albea, Kitty Ball, Julie Bennett, Megan Gibbs, Jordan Hamm, Stacie Hand, Shantegra Harris, Sarah Herring, Latricia Price, Madison Saggus, Ann-Anise Tanner, and Lindsey Young.
