Lincoln County resident Abigail Minor carried her Lincoln Journal to the Southern Terminus of the Appalachian Trail over spring break. Abigail is pictured at Springer Mountain on April 7. To reach the trail head, Abigail hiked five miles from Amicalola Falls State Park to the Hike Inn and another 4.5 miles to Springer Mountain. With the return hikes, Abigail hiked 20 miles in three days.
