The Lincoln County Superior Court will hear criminal cases when the court's April Term begins Monday, April 17, at the Lincoln County Courthouse.

Chief Judge Roger W. Dunaway, Jr. is the presiding judge.

According to Superior Court Clerk Bruce Beggs, jurors are to report to the courtroom at 9:30 a.m. and check in with the bailiff upon their arrival.

Also, on Sunday, April 16, jurors are asked to call the number at the bottom of their subpoenas after 4 p.m. to receive a recorded message containing additional reporting instructions, Beggs said.

A separate panel of jurors has been subpoenaed for civil trials which will begin on Tuesday, April 25. A list of these prospective jurors will appear in the April 20 issue of The Lincoln Journal.
