Comfort for kids
2006-03-30 / Front Page
Kenneth (far right) and Juanita Riddleberger recently donated a "zoo full" of stuffed animals to the Lincolnton Police Department. The animals will be used to comfort children who are either victims or witnesses of a crime or some other type of traumatic event. "These stuffed animals will go a long way toward facilitating the healing process and reassuring children that law enforcement officers are not the bad guys," said Chief Jim Justice (far left). "On behalf of the City of Lincolnton and the police department, I would like to express our gratitude to the Riddlebergers for their generosity."
