Baskin, McGill to exchange vows in cermeony May 6

KELLY S. BASKIN AND JAMES C. MCGILL, JR. KELLY S. BASKIN AND JAMES C. MCGILL, JR. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Cleveland Baskin of Marietta, Ga. announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelly Suzanne to James Curtis McGill, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. James Curtis McGill, Sr., of Snellville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mrs. Louise Morgan Keith of Oak Ridge, Tenn., the late Mr. Phillip Weyman Morgan of Conasauga, Tenn. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Grover Cleveland Baskin, Jr. of Murfreesboro, Tenn.

She is a 1996 graduate of Marietta High School and a 2000 graduate of the University of Georgia where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in sports communication and a minor in telecommunications. She is currently employed as the head tennis professional at Olde Towne Athletic Club in Marietta and as a co-host for "Matchpoint," which airs on NBC and the Tennis Channel.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. E.L. Rainey and the late Mrs. Genevieve Hartness Rainey of Stone Mountain and Mrs. Elizabeth Bevill McGill and the late Eugene Hall McGill, Sr., of Lincolnton.

He is a 1997 graduate of Brookwood High School in Snellville and a 2002 graduate of the University of Georgia where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in turfgrass management. He is currently employed as the vice president of Ashton Senior Living in Lawrenceville, Ga.

The wedding will take place on Saturday, May 6, 2006 at the RitzCarlton in Amelia Island, Florida with the reception to follow.
