CALLIE MCKUHEN BEAUFORD Mrs. Callie McKuhen Beauford, 92, entered into rest on Friday, February 24, 2006 at McDuffie Regional Medical Center in Thomson, Georgia.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Monday, February 27 at Central Baptist Church. Internment followed in Gravel Hill Cemetery.

Born in Emanuel County, she resided in Central Junction for 47 years. She was a member of Central Baptist Church and retired from Union Camp Paper Corporation after 36 years of service. Granny B acted as a loving mama to many and touched countless lives.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Ellie S. Fields and Henry George Beauford; a son, Daniel Beauford; and two daughters, Joyce Fanny and Peggie Barnett.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Gwen and John Moss of Rincon, Ga., Betty and Thomas Kea of Lincolnton and Gail and John Buttersworth of Pooler; a daughter in-law, Karen Beauford of Guyton; a son-in-law, A.J. Fanny of Guyton; eighteen grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
