Miriam Stein, 11th District American Legion Auxiliary President and Jim Whelan, Dept. of Georgia American Legion Sgt. at Arms attended the Hug-A-Bear program at Post 192 in Evans on February 24. The legion family of Post 192 collected 1148 stuffed animals that were distributed to the Columbia County Sheriffs Dept., Grovetown fire and police depts., area fire departments and the Rebecca Moon Foundation.
