Treats for veterans

The American Legion family of Georgia served veterans refreshments at the uptown VA Medical Center on February 14. They handed out caps, bandanas, goody bags, candy bags and socks to the veterans at uptown and downtown VA. The total program cost over $1100 and their were thirteen auxiliary and legion posts to participate. The sons and juniors of Post 192 Evans also participated. The Dept. of Georgia American Legion Commander Robert Pollard was in town for the event.
