SGM Floyd Eggert
SGM Floyd Eggert, U.S. Army Ret., 87, of Old Waynesboro Rd., entered into rest on Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at Brentwood Terrace in Waynesboro.
A private graveside service is planned.
Mr. Eggert was a native of Mandam, N.D. but had lived in Tacoma, Wash. until moving to Augusta, Ga. last year. A retired U.S. Army Sergeant Major, Mr. Eggert had served in World War II, the Korean Conflict and Vietnam. He was a member of Berlin United Methodist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Gerrie Doss of Augusta, Yvonne Power of San Antonio, Texas, Daphne Logan of Tacoma, Wash., and Colleen Macbeth of Mandam, N.D.; eight grandchildren; ten greatgrandchildren; and six great-greatgrandchildren.

Beggs Funeral Home, Lincolnton, was in charge of arrangements.
