The Washington-Wilkes Humane Shelter Association will hold a silent auction fund-raiser to raise money for its building fund on Fri., Nov. 18 from 7 9:30 p.m. at the Pope Community Center on Lexington Road in Washington.

Admission is free. Refreshments, bargains and fun will be available along with the knowledge that you were able to help support a worthy cause. There will be 200 items available and most will start at a $1.00 bid. Included items are certificates for service, restaurants, sports equipment, edibles, toys, crafts for children, gift baskets, jewelry, shop tools, and much more.
