Discussing the origin of Red Ribbon Week

Family Connections sponsored a program for the middle school during Red Ribbon Week. Program leaders met with sixth, seventh and eighth grade students to discuss the origins of Red Ribbon Week, the affects of using drugs, the five common drugs in this area, and juvenile laws dealing with drugs and alcohol. A few of the sixth graders at the assembly included front row, (l to r): Josh Stewart, Izelius Ferguson, Monterrio Wright, Dylan Norman, Bethany Beggs, and Hannah Bryant.
